Site Promotion Time Management Tips

These simple but effective tips for managing your time will help you get more done during your working day.
Firstly you should write down all the promotional methods of advertising that you use on a daily basis. For example it could be:- Blog Commenting, Article Writing, Traffic Exchanges, Forums and email marketing.
Then, try to work out how long each method takes you, which in some cases will be a fixed amount of time and others such as traffic exchanges, the amount of time will be changeable.
Let's say it takes 30 minutes to write an article and you write 2 articles a day, thats 1 hour plus the amount of time it takes to submit to the article directories, which we will say takes another 30 minutes. So in total thats 1 hour 30 minutes.
Now for traffic exchanges there is no set time, so you have to decide how long you are going to spend on surfing the traffic exchanges and keep to it. It will be tempting to carry on surfing but you must stick to the amount of time you decide on.
By adding up the amount of time you allocate to each advertising method, you will find how much time you have left to devote to other parts of your business. For example if you spend 4 hours on advertising and you spend 7 hours a day on your business, that would leave you with 3 hours for the other jobs.
Next decide the importance of the remaining parts of your business and allocate each job with a portion of the remaining 3 hours.
If you write all this down and have it in front of you each day, it will help you stay focused and complete the job in hand, without getting distracted and skipping from one part of your business to another.
